Lean Six Sigma
Lean is built on the elimination of waste – anything that does not add value to the product. Six Sigma is based on the controlling of defects. The most practical definition for Six Sigma is "Data Driven Problem Solving"
TSCC Technology uses the so-called DMAIC approach for problem solving. DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control. The tools, typically used in the DMAIC approach, are:
- Process mapping (SIPOC)
- Measurement System Analysis (Gauge R&R)
- Process Capability (Cp, Cpk, DPMO)
- Design of Experiments (DOE)
- 5S : Sort - Straighten - Shine - Standardize - Sustain
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
